Senior Paid Search Account Executive

The Role
We’re seeking a senior Paid Search Account Executive with at least 18 months of agency experience to strengthen our Paid Media team. In this dynamic role, you’ll shape and deliver high-performing Paid Search campaigns across a diverse client portfolio while gaining insights into broader digital channels and client success strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Plan, deliver, and optimise Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns
- Manage and refine Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns
- Monitor KPIs and identify actionable optimisation opportunities

Performance & Data-Driven Optimisation
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience analysis, and competitor benchmarking
- Adjust bidding strategies and budget allocations to maximise ROI
- Generate clear, data-backed reporting to support decision-making

Client Collaboration & Presentations
- Participate in client meetings to present campaign insights and recommendations
- Act as a bridge between clients and specialist teams (media, creative, data)

Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with media, creative, and data teams to align strategies across channels
About You
Essential Requirements
- 18+ months in a Paid Search/PPC role, preferably in a hands-on agency environment
- Deep experience managing Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Data Studio)
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis and reporting
- Track record of analysing performance data and translating insights into optimisation recommendations
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing competing priorities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Ads
- Exposure to Paid Social (e.g., Facebook/Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads)
- Familiarity with Smartly.com
- Prior client-facing or consultative experience
- Experience preparing and presenting campaign strategy and performance reports
