Senior Paid Search Account Executive

The Role

We’re seeking a senior Paid Search Account Executive with at least 18 months of agency experience to strengthen our Paid Media team. In this dynamic role, you’ll shape and deliver high-performing Paid Search campaigns across a diverse client portfolio while gaining insights into broader digital channels and client success strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution

    • Plan, deliver, and optimise Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns
    • Manage and refine Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns
    • Monitor KPIs and identify actionable optimisation opportunities
  • Performance & Data-Driven Optimisation

    • Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience analysis, and competitor benchmarking
    • Adjust bidding strategies and budget allocations to maximise ROI
    • Generate clear, data-backed reporting to support decision-making

  • Client Collaboration & Presentations

    • Participate in client meetings to present campaign insights and recommendations
    • Act as a bridge between clients and specialist teams (media, creative, data)
  • Cross-Team Collaboration

    • Work closely with media, creative, and data teams to align strategies across channels

About You

Essential Requirements

  • 18+ months in a Paid Search/PPC role, preferably in a hands-on agency environment
  • Deep experience managing Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Data Studio)
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Track record of analysing performance data and translating insights into optimisation recommendations
  • Ability to multitask effectively while managing competing priorities
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Ads
  • Exposure to Paid Social (e.g., Facebook/Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads)
  • Familiarity with Smartly.com
  • Prior client-facing or consultative experience
  • Experience preparing and presenting campaign strategy and performance reports
