Position Overview
We are looking for a UK-based Paralegal to join Avantia and support our UK Contracts team. Within this role you will be negotiating investment-related NDAs and related documents with lawyer supervision, setting up and coordinating workflows, portal management, assist with playbook updates, and other client-related work.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Drafting and Support: Negotiate investment-related documents with lawyer supervision
- Managing the prompt intake of new documents: Work to tight turnaround times
- Client Support: Set up and coordinate client workflows and assist with setting up portals and getting contracts signed and finalized
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our UK lawyers, support the lawyers with ad hoc work where necessary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law (or another discipline alongside a GDL/LPC).
- At least 2 years' experience working with a transactional or corporate practice group or in an in-house commercial legal team setting.
- Experience working with commercial contracts and drafting initial markups, particularly investment-related NDAs.
- Exposure to private markets highly desirable.
