Senior Paralegal - Fraud

We're seeking an experienced Litigator to join the team as Senior Paralegal or Solicitor.
You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, working on fraud cases both pre-lit and litigated, for a wide variety of clients
The position offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with the expectation to be in either the Manchester or Birmingham office one to two days per week.
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of fraud cases, from inception to resolution. Conducting thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses. Drafting Pleadings, instructions to counsel and comprehensive reports to clients. Maintain accurate records and case files using the firm’s case management system. Complying with MI requirements Liaise with clients and external parties, providing updates and ensuring case progression. Collaborate with clients, insurers, and other parties to obtain necessary evidence and documentation. Deploying agreed legal strategies and ensuring efficient case development.

What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
Previous and tangible paralegal experience handling in your own right fraud or motor insurance claims. Strong knowledge of the UK legal system and civil litigation process Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Strong organisational and communication skills. Proficiency in legal research and using case management software. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
An understanding of the wider Fraud market in terms of trends, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities. Previous experience of working with Visual Files, or similar, case management system.
