Senior Paraplanner

Location: Surrey Salary: Up to £60,000

Role Summary

A senior Paraplanner is required to enhance a team of Financial Advisers through technical research, report writing, and financial planning support. Operating alongside experienced technical specialists, including Fellowship-level professionals, you’ll have a chance to refine your expertise within a stimulating environment that encourages professional development.

This role caters to professionals aiming for highly qualified technical subject matter expertise, or those looking for a pathway into financial advice, potentially progressing to becoming a Financial Adviser.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality suitability reports and formulate recommendations that drive favourable client outcomes.
  • Conduct in-depth research into pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning solutions.
  • Assess client circumstances and craft tailored planning strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with advisors, administrators, and technical specialists to accelerate case progression.
  • Assist with ongoing client reviews and provide periodic recommendations.
  • Ensure all deliverables are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal best practices.

Requirements

  • Diploma qualified (Level 4 Financial Planning or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner in a financial planning context.
  • Strong foundational knowledge across pensions, investments, and financial planning.
  • Ability to draft suitability reports independently.
  • Outstanding communication and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Diploma or Chartered status in progress considered advantageous.
