Job Opportunity for an Experienced Paraplanner / Senior Paraplanner
A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced paraplanner / senior paraplanner to join a leading chartered financial advice firm in Glasgow due to continued growth. Role Details
The role will be exceptionally in depth with client facing elements as you become familiar with the firm. Primarily it will involve:
- Preparation of Suitability Reports
- Liaising with product providers to collate pension and investment information for replacement contracts
- Providing technical support to the team with paraplanning and research support
- Carrying out market research on behalf of your adviser prior to meeting
- Assist in the on-going due diligence reviews of investment funds and Platforms
- Provide appropriate support to the Financial Adviser / MD

Requirements
To be considered you must be an experienced Paraplanner, either having completed your exams or have made significant progress towards (exams fully supported). Your background will include both Pensions and Investments with excellent report writing skills.
Experience of using research tools such as FE Analytics ideally knowledge of Intelligent Office would be advantageous but not a pre requisite.
Given the close knit nature of the firm you will be a committed, enthusiastic and flexible individual with the ability to bring new ideas to the firm - all of which would be warmly received. Along with this you could have team management duties or assisting less experienced members of the team if you wish and develop internally.
