We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, client-focused wealth management firm seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join their growing team in Blackburn.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established paraplanner looking to play a key role in supporting financial advisers, producing high-quality technical reports, and contributing to the continued success of a professional and collaborative business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning.
- Undertake technical research and product analysis to support financial advisers.
- Assist with complex financial planning cases and cashflow modelling.
- Liaise with providers, platforms, and third parties to obtain information and progress business.
- Ensure all recommendations meet FCA regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
- Support advisers throughout the advice process from recommendation through to implementation.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the paraplanning team where appropriate.

About You
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm.
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) essential.
- Working towards Chartered status would be advantageous.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax, and protection planning.
- Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
