Location: Croydon (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Benefits

The Opportunity
An established and growing financial planning firm is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a technical role, supporting Financial Advisers by delivering high-quality research, suitability reports and client recommendations.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent attention to detail, and experience using Intelligent Office. Experience with Dynamic Planner and/or PlannerPal would be highly advantageous. The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, combining office-based work in Croydon with remote working.

- Prepare high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters.
- Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
- Analyse existing client arrangements and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Work closely with Financial Advisers to deliver compliant and suitable client outcomes.
- Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures.
- Maintain accurate client records using Intelligent Office.
- Liaise with providers and internal teams to obtain information and progress cases.
- Assist with complex financial planning cases where required.
- Support advisers throughout the end-to-end client journey.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience working as a Paraplanner.
- Previous experience using Intelligent Office is essential.
- Experience using Dynamic Planner and/or PlannerPal is desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and financial planning.
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple cases effectively.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Diploma qualified (Level 4) or working towards Chartered status would be advantageous.
