Are you an experienced watersports instructor ready to take the next step in your career? Join our team at Alton Water, one of Suffolk's most stunning outdoor activity destinations, where no two days are the same.
Set within 400 acres of beautiful countryside and open water, Alton Water offers visitors exciting experiences both on and off the reservoir. From sailing and windsurfing to our popular Aquapark, you'll play a key role in delivering unforgettable adventures while helping to lead and inspire our instructor team.
About the Role
As our Senior Park Instructor, you'll support the Activities Manager in the day-to-day operation of the park, ensuring our activities are delivered safely, professionally, and to the highest customer service standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced instructor who enjoys leading from the front, developing others, and creating exceptional visitor experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily operation and management of the Aquapark
- Manage and monitor online booking platform
- Create and review Risk Assessments
- Conduct building inspections and fire alarm testing in line with company policies and legal requirements
- Accident and incident reporting
- Carry out daily and weekly banking procedures
- Help create a welcoming, enjoyable and memorable experience for all visitors

What does it take?
- RYA Senior instructor Qualification
- 2 years experience as a Senior instructor
- Experience in leading a team of instructors (Desirable)
- An appropriate valid First Aid qualification certificate
We are looking for customer-focused individuals to provide first-class customer service to all our visitors. Experience of working in a customer facing outdoor role would be desirable. You’ll help us maintain a clean and safe environment. Most importantly you’ll show flexibility and a willingness to learn about all aspects of our activities.
