Senior Partner Development Manager

About Your Role

As a Senior Partner Development Manager, you will focus on winning new business by identifying, securing and onboarding strategic partners across the UK. Working closely with the Head of Partner Sales and cross-functional teams, you will own the full partner acquisition journey, helping strengthen Fiserv as the payments partner of choice in the partner channel. Success in this role will be defined by the quality of partnerships you build, the revenue you generate and your ability to deliver against ambitious growth goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, source and onboard new partners, including referral partners, ISVs, ISOs and PayFacs
  • Build, manage and maintain a high-quality pipeline of prospective partners through proactive outbound activity, networking, referrals and market engagement
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify high-value partnership opportunities
  • Own the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through commercial negotiation, contracting and successful onboarding
  • Build compelling commercial propositions that create value for Fiserv and our partners
  • Lead commercial negotiations to secure long-term strategic partnerships
  • Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to identify new routes to market and emerging opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Marketing and Operations to support a seamless onboarding experience
  • Champion new partnership opportunities internally and align stakeholders to accelerate revenue generation
  • Monitor partner performance during onboarding and identify opportunities to maximise early success and future growth
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity and evolving customer needs
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of partner acquisition strategies, sales processes and channel initiatives

Experience You’ll Need To Have

  • Proven history of consistently exceeding new business sales targets
  • Demonstrated success identifying, negotiating and winning strategic partnerships
  • Experience building and managing a healthy new business pipeline
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience selling within payments, fintech, SaaS or technology through partner sales channels
  • Knowledge of channel ecosystems including ISOs, ISVs, PayFacs and referral partnerships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • A resilient, proactive and results-driven approach with a passion for winning new business
  • High levels of integrity, accountability and collaboration

Experience That Would Be Great To Have

  • Experience in payments, fintech or financial services
  • Experience working with structured partner programmes and performance frameworks
  • An existing network within the UK payments ecosystem
  • Experience building strategic go-to-market partnerships
  • Strong data literacy with the ability to interpret performance metrics and trends
  • Experience contributing to change initiatives or scaling partner programmes

How You’ll Work

This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
