Note: This position will be based in Europe and reports to a Director while also supporting the leadership team as needed. We are not sponsoring any Visas at this time.
Ideal location is CET time zone +/- 1 hour
Role
As a Senior Partner Manager, you work in a team that oversees EFG's global portfolio of brand sponsors. You work collaboratively with brand partners, the product and event teams, and the sales team to support high-quality sponsorship programs across global esports events and gaming festivals.
Role Requirements:
- Project/Program manager lead on all assigned strategic account sponsorship programs across multiple EFG properties
- Lead the strategic direction of custom sponsorship programs across EFG properties that naturally ties in with brand goals and brand identity
- Ability to lead multiple brand partner accounts while creating deep relationships with day-to-day contacts; leads business reviews with assigned partners
- Understand and articulate our partners' KPIs and go-to-market strategies at partner and (internal) executive levels
- Manage contract discussions and workstreams internally, supporting the Director on external contract negotiations
- Collaborate with peers in multiple departments to ensure the highest quality strategic implementation of partner programs
- Assist the Director and build out annual reports, partner strategic roadmaps, and activation plans
- Assist with the budget and assume responsibility for projects and/or clients' budgets as assigned, keeping the Director updated throughout initiatives/lifecycle
- Forecast and communicate key account metrics to the Director and Vice President to ensure all partnerships are on track to deliver; supported by Partner Manager(s)
- Assist and present new business to existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement contributing to revenue targets
- May mentor and help develop junior employees
- Stay up-to-date with esports/gaming trends

Competencies:
- Experience navigating complex organizations, a clear demonstration of identifying and building relationships with key stakeholders, and an understanding of internal processes
- Demonstrates executive presence and confidently leads discussions, fostering engagement and clear decision-making.
- Track record of success in maximizing partnership revenue and profitability across multiple products and offerings
- Ability to lead complex workstreams and strategic programs
- Ability to understand data and provide succinct recommendations internally and externally
- A leader and self-starter with the ability to manage time and prioritize work within a team
- Experience with contract renewals and internal processes that support successful outcomes

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing, related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of six to eight years of experience in a similar position or transferable experience (gaming and esports industry experience is a big plus)
- Project management experience
- An understanding of the esports and gaming industry, sponsorships and/or brand experience with a willingness to learn and desire to stay up-to-date on the latest trends
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English language, both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel frequently, both domestic and international
