About The Role
The Senior Partner Manager is pivotal to developing commercial relationships with a “360 degree” approach that maximizes value from BT’s largest, most broad-ranging Big Tech partners. This encompasses: topline revenue growth from BT ‘sell-to’, driving value from new & innovative joint go-to-market initiatives, and supporting BT’s transformation via the effective adoption of the partner technology.
The outcome overall is to build a strong, long-term, mutually-beneficial partnership. Reporting to the Director of Group Strategic Partnerships, this is a senior individual contributor role which sits at the Group-level, in the Strategy & Change department.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take a holistic pan-BT approach to maximise mutual value from the assigned partner(s), to support BT Group’s broader goals and strategic priorities.
- Define and drive partner strategy, performance, and own the Joint Business Plan to deliver mutual value.
- Work with internal BT teams on JGTM opportunities through the partner ecosystem and support business cases for new initiatives.
- Be the ‘voice of the partner’ within BT to facilitate knowledge-sharing, innovation, and best practices.
- Establish and operate effective partnership governance.
- Identify down-side risks to BT and ensure mitigations are developed and executed.
- Provide consultative advice and actionable insights for opportunities & risks across BT.
- Work effectively with a broad range of internal stakeholders at senior and working level.

Essential Skills / Experience
- Proven partner management, account management and/or business development experience, with a track record of building and maintaining strategic commercial relationships that deliver mutual value and support business growth.
- Strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the tenacity and resilience to navigate complex environments, challenge constructively and secure positive outcomes with both operational stakeholders and senior executives.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, develop partnership strategies, translate market insights into action, and deliver measurable business results.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Prior work alongside or within technology partners, alliances, or ecosystems.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability in deal structuring.
