Senior Partner. Private Equity Due Diligence & Value Creation

Partner – Private Equity Advisory

Collaborative opportunity at a fast-growing strategy and transactions advisory firm in the UK, expanding its Private Equity practice.

The firm advises leading private equity funds and portfolio companies across the full investment lifecycle, including Commercial Due Diligence (CDD), Value Creation, and Growth Strategy.

About the Role

  • Hybrid model: Typically two days in-office, three days remote, with limited client travel.
  • Delivers high-impact work for private equity investors while maintaining a sustainable consulting approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with private equity firms and portfolio companies on strategic advisory engagements.
  • Specialisation in:
    • Commercial Due Diligence (CDD)/Operational Due Diligence (ODD)
    • Top-line/bottom-line value creation
  • Leads analyses such as investment theses, structuring complex problems, research, and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

Experience & Expertise

  • 10+ years’ experience in private equity consulting, including:
    • CDD, ODD, or value creation for portfolio companies
    • Multiple private equity engagements (leading or supporting)
  • Focus on at least one core sector (e.g., Technology/Software, Healthcare/Life Sciences, Industrials, Consumer/Retail, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Media, Energy, or B2B Professional Services).
  • Strong client relationship management, ability to lead project teams, and business development influence.

Skillset
