About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Partner Recruitment Manager to drive the end-to-end process for lateral partner hiring and seamless integration across the firm.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and leadership to identify, attract, and onboard lateral partner hires while ensuring a discreet, commercially robust, and integrated transition from initial engagement to success within the partnership structure.
Responsibilities
Lateral Partner Hiring
- Lead end-to-end lateral partner hiring aligned with firm-wide growth strategies.
- Partner with leadership to define hiring priorities, target markets, and candidate profiles.
- Manage high-level candidate relationships throughout the hiring journey.
- Oversee engagement with search firms to ensure strong market coverage and quality delivery.
- Coordinate due diligence processes.
Integration & Partner Onboarding
- Develop and implement structured integration plans for lateral partners and their teams.
- Support seamless transition into the firm’s partnership model, culture, and workflows.
- Work with teams to embed new hires while maintaining client relationships.
- Track integration milestones and proactively address risks.
- Provide ongoing support to enhance retention and performance.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior partners, leadership, and key stakeholders.
- Offer strategic advice on lateral hiring strategies, market trends, and best practices.
- Act as a key liaison between partners and the wider organisation during hiring and integration.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor and report KPIs tied to lateral partner success.
- Deliver regular insights and progress updates to senior stakeholders.
- Use data to refine hiring and integration strategies for continuous improvement.
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Refine and standardise lateral hiring and integration frameworks.
- Drive operational efficiencies using AI, market intelligence, and analytical tools to enhance candidate and partner experiences.
- Stay informed on partner market trends, remuneration, and competitor activity.
- Strengthen the firm’s external profile through relationships with recruiters, agencies, and industry peers.

Requirements
- Proven experience in lateral partner hiring, executive search, or talent strategy within a UK law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong background in evaluating partner business cases and financial projections.
- A track record of complex, high-level hiring success.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and diplomacy.
- High discretion, professionalism, and a pragmatic, collaborative approach.
