Senior Partner Recruitment Manager

Working Pattern

Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)


We’re looking for a Senior Partner Recruitment Manager to lead the end-to-end lateral partner hiring and integration process across the Firm.

The Senior Manager will partner closely with senior stakeholders and leadership to identify, attract, and deliver lateral partner hires and team moves. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring a seamless, discreet, and commercially robust process from initial engagement through to successful integration and performance realisation within the partnership model.


What You’ll Be Doing

Lateral Partner Hiring

  • Lead end-to-end lateral partner hiring aligned to strategic growth priorities.
  • Partner with leadership to define hiring needs, target markets, and candidate profiles.
  • Manage candidate relationships as they progress through the hiring journey.
  • Manage relationships with search firms to ensure strong market coverage and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes.

Integration & Partner Onboarding

  • Deliver structured integration plans for lateral partners and their teams.
  • Support transition into the firm’s partnership model, culture, and ways of working.
  • Work with key stakeholders to help embed hires into teams and assist in coordinating client relationships.
  • Track integration milestones and address risks proactively.
  • Provide ongoing support to drive retention and performance.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with senior partners, leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on lateral hiring strategy, market dynamics, and best practice.
  • Act as a key link between partners and the wider business throughout hiring and integration.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and report KPIs linked to lateral partner success.
  • Provide regular reporting and insight to senior leadership.
  • Use data to refine hiring and integration approaches.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Refine and standardise lateral hiring and integration processes.
  • Drive efficiencies through leveraging AI and market intelligence tools to enhance delivery and provide a best-in-class candidate and partner experience.
  • Stay current on partner market trends, remuneration, and competitor activity.
  • Build a strong external profile with head-hunters, agencies, and peers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in lateral partner hiring, executive search, or talent strategy in a UK law firm or professional services environment.
  • Experience assessing partner business cases and financial projections.
  • Strong track record in complex, senior-level hiring.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High discretion, professionalism, and a pragmatic, collaborative approach.
