The Role: Head of Partner Sales – UK & Ireland (Medium & Large Banks)

Reporting to the Head of Partner Sales – Europe, this role focuses on accelerating Temenos sales cycles by partnering with Temenos sellers and ecosystem partners. The key objectives include:

  • Designing and commercialising virtual ‘one-stop-shop’ agencies within the ecosystem.
  • Onboarding and managing new Sales Partners (introducers, resellers, distributors) in UK & Ireland.
  • Driving partner channel sales across Temenos’ multi-product portfolio.
  • Managing relationships with existing Sales Partners to ensure engagement, empowerment, and education—locally to drive market adoption.
  • Acting as a liaison between partners and Temenos.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Channel Strategy & Growth

  • Build partner sales strategy for UK & Ireland, including:
    • Go-to-market (GTM) planning and lead mapping.
    • Strategy facilitation in partner session areas & ecosystems (e.g., HCL, Deloitte, EY).
    • Facilitating alignment with Temenos cross-functional teams (sales, product, legal, support).
  • Define mutual business cases and ROI estimations for partner collaborations.
  • Monitor and drive partner pipeline maturity into product propositions.
  • Support partner delivery to increase Temenos’ market penetration in given regions.
  • Manage partner-specific brand strategies and marketing programs.

Partner Relationship Management

  • Identify potential new partners and drive onboarding to ensure sustainable engagement.
  • Educate and uplift partners through training, hands-on support, and shared marketing aspects.
  • Maintain regular interaction with partners via ** měsíční or quarterly reviews** (e.g., portfolio reviews, ROI tracker).
  • Liaise closely with the Partner Director to align local and regional partner strategies.

Sales Execution & Accountability

  • Design and drive sales strategies, drive short- to mid-term execution plans, Resource= and deliver against Partner Director story.
  • Develop strategic alignment with selected partners on how to maximally penetrate Temenos’ value.
  • Ensure technology fit and business case clarity for partners.
  • Interface with internal teams (pricing, product, professional services, onboarding) to close RFPs, accelerate transitions, and drive partner artefacts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Ensure full alignment with Temenos sales leadership around partner accessibility and viability.
  • Partner with easy sells & Temenos life sciences globally to accountability of life sciences strategy.

Requirements & Qualifications

Core Skills & Attributes

Sales & Banking Focus

  • Deep financial services industry knowledge, including trends, challenges, and innovations.
  • Proven success in selling complex tech solutions to FINTECH or incumbent banks.
  • Industry and cultural adaptability in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Passionate entrepreneur, energy & drive—with a global mindset and passion for selling.
  • Experience selling regional markets of SE, Nordics, and DACH.
  • Strong technical banking expertise (retail, corporate, payment solutions).

Partner Relations

  • Ability to quantity and qualify partnerships, from start to onboarding:
    • Establish structured, sustainable relationships for objective delivery.
  • Creating effective longer-term partner relationships to fill gaps left by traditional sales.
  • Avoiding channel conflicts while maximising Temenos’ revenue through strategic partners.
