About the role

As Senior Partnerships Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of Very Media Group, leading the development, delivery and optimisation of strategic partner marketing activity across our Retail Media proposition.
Reporting to the Head of Very Media Group, you'll lead a talented team responsible for creating commercially impactful campaigns that connect our brand partners with the right customers, at the right time, through the right channels.
You'll own a portfolio of strategic partner relationships across categories including Fashion, Home, Beauty, Sports and Gifts, working closely with commercial, marketing, category and creative teams to deliver best-in-class retail media solutions that drive growth for both Very and our partners.
This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to influence strategy, shape future capability and help accelerate one of The Very Group's most important growth areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing team of Partner Marketing and Campaign Activation specialists.
  • Building strategic partner marketing plans that align with category ambitions, customer priorities and commercial objectives.
  • Developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and key brand partners to secure investment and long-term collaboration.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end planning, delivery and optimisation of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Working closely with Category, Marketing, Commercial, Creative and Analytics teams to ensure activity delivers maximum impact.
  • Championing Very's brand identity and ensuring all partnership activity reflects our creative and brand standards.
  • Identifying new commercial opportunities, partnerships and revenue streams to support the continued growth of Very Media Group.
  • Using first-party customer data, insight and measurement to drive campaign effectiveness and partner ROI.
  • Monitoring campaign and portfolio performance, driving innovation, continuous improvement and operational excellence across the team.

About you

You'll be a commercially minded marketing leader who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities and delivering results.
You'll also bring:

  • Strong experience within brand marketing, retail media, media planning, customer marketing or commercial partnerships.
  • Proven people leadership experience, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to identify growth opportunities and build compelling propositions for partners.
  • Confidence presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Experience managing strategic partner relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Strong campaign planning and execution experience across multi-channel marketing activity.
  • An eye for great creative and an understanding of what drives standout customer experiences.
  • A data-led approach, using insight and performance metrics to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to bring teams together around shared goals.
  • A proactive, organised and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for retail media, marketing innovation and creating value for customers and partners alike.
