Race Against Dementia

Race Against Dementia is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Senior Partnerships Officer to support the delivery of our ambitious fundraising strategy and help drive global awareness of our mission.

Role Overview

Working closely with the Strategic Partnerships Lead, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing, growing, and activating a portfolio of corporate and strategic partnerships. The role will also support international fundraising initiatives, helping to identify and cultivate opportunities across priority markets including the USA, Switzerland, and other emerging regions.

Formula 1 remains our flagship global partner, and this position will help maximise the impact of this and other high-profile relationships to generate income, strengthen engagement, and increase the visibility of our work worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a portfolio of corporate and strategic partners, ensuring excellent stewardship and engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, corporate supporters, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Support the delivery of partnership fundraising activities, campaigns, and events that generate income and raise awareness.
  • Assist in identifying, researching, and developing new partnership opportunities across the UK and international markets.
  • Contribute to international fundraising and partnership development efforts, particularly in priority regions such as the USA and Switzerland.
  • Support the activation and optimization of Formula 1 and other high-profile partnerships.
  • Prepare compelling partnership proposals, presentations, reports, and impact updates.
  • Track partnership performance and maintain accurate records within the organization's CRM system.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across fundraising, marketing, communications, and operations teams to maximize partnership outcomes.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to strengthen the organization's partnership strategy and reach.

Qualifications

  • Experience in partnership management, business development, fundraising, account management, or relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience developing and maintaining professional relationships that achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and take a proactive approach to partnership growth.
  • Strong written skills, including experience producing proposals, presentations, and reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/database systems.
  • A passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Desirable

  • Experience within the charity, sports, health, international development, or corporate partnerships sectors.
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles and donor stewardship.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders or global partnerships.
  • Understanding of Formula 1, elite sport, or sponsorship environments.
