The Role
The main purpose of a Senior Parts Advisor is to actively make outbound calls to obtain additional sales, offer products and promotions to trade customers and to work closely with other team members and in particularly an external Sales Representative to identify and convert sales growth opportunities
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
To assist in answering incoming phone calls within our call center at peak times. Offer existing customers who call in at least one product from any of our promotions. Aim to make a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day to recover any potential lost sales, add link sell opportunities or cross sell aftermarket parts on price led enquiries. Annalise sales data to understand what products can be promoted to specific customers. Record any customers concerns and report to the Parts Manager. Record any lost sales on database. Assist the parts advisors with complex situations I.E customer querys and look up of parts. Cover for the parts Supervisor in his absence. Set examples at all times for staff to follow in respect of our core values

Experience And Qualifications
Motor trade parts experience would be advantageous. Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word. Previous experience using the CDK Drive (Kerridge) system valuable. Previous experience using Internet based portals would be beneficial.

Attributes Required
Be able to work well under pressure. An ability to retain training and an enthusiastic approach is vital. You must possess a desire to sell and win orders. Quickly and efficiently accessing records, checking databases and updating files, often whilst talking to a potential customer at the same time.

Dependent on Experience and Qualifications, to be discussed at interview
Hours
Monday to Friday, with Saturday on a rota
