Senior Pathologist
An established Contract Research Organisation is seeking a talented professional to join its expanding Pathology Sciences team. This organisation offers a dynamic, scientifically rigorous environment where your expertise will make a real impact. The Role
You will provide expert input across a range of non-clinical safety studies, taking ownership of pathology-related activities and ensuring the highest standards of scientific delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on anatomic and clinical pathology requirements within study protocols
- Supervising necropsies, ensuring accurate dissection, sampling, and recording of findings
- Conducting detailed microscopic evaluations and correlating data across pathology endpoints
- Collaborating with internal teams and external clients to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Supporting, mentoring, and peer-reviewing pathologists in training

About You
- FRCPath or Diplomate of ACVP/ECVP (essential)
- Veterinary degree (DVM, VMD, BVM&S, BVSc or equivalent)
- Experience in toxicologic or laboratory animal pathology
- Strong expertise in toxicity study evaluation and peer review is essential
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with digital pathology (advantageous)
- MSc or PhD
