Senior Patient Administrator

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic senior patient administrator to effectively help manage the administration service at CWH.
About the Role
The Imaging Service and department exists to provide support to the clinicians in charge of the medical care and treatment of patients attending the Trust. It aims to do this speedily and to provide interpretation and advice on results. The department supports the teaching functions of the Trust and its commitment to the research and development of new modalities. The Imaging department work within a high quality management system and have recently been awarded UKAS QSI Accreditation.
This position is to work closely with the Imaging Administration Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the department, maintaining high standards of patient care, and supporting administrative staff. The administrator will work closely with Superintendents, Radiographers, and patients, utilising excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills. They will deputise for the Imaging Manager, where and when required and will carry out appraisals for more junior members of staff.
Responsibilities
- Training and supervision of junior staff, to ensure that work objectives are being met on a day-to-day basis.
- Regarded as a key member of the imaging team.
- Managing patient data, booking appointments and managing the diary to support modalities.
- Handling inquiries including transport assistance.
- Ensuring that the clinical diary (Soliton) and records are up-to-date.
