About Sanne
Sanne is a luxury made-to-order fashion house founded in London and now based in Dubai. Known for our bold silhouettes, meticulous craftsmanship, and futuristic storytelling, we serve a discerning global clientele through private appointments, pop-ups, and exclusive retail experiences.
We are seeking a Senior Pattern Cutter & Digital Sizing Specialist
This role sits at the intersection of traditional luxury craft and fashion technology: you will be responsible for the impeccable execution of our made-to-order collections alongside a hands-on role in our proprietary 3D body scanning, automated sizing, and digital manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate brings exceptional pattern cutting credentials and the confidence to operate within a digital-first production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collection & Special Projects Development
- Create and cut patterns for Sanne's quarterly collections across RTW and made-to-measure.
- Develop new silhouettes and adapt house styles into innovative designs.
- Create master production patterns to an impeccable technical standard.
- Modify existing patterns for custom and made-to-measure orders, both physically and digitally.
- Support and supervise in-house machinists during sampling; create toiles where necessary.
- Conduct reviews of pilot and grading samples and approve for production.
- Collaborate on development of new collections, offering both technical and creative input.
Technical Direction & Digitisation
- Digitise all physical patterns using the Gerber Digitiser.
- Edit and adapt digital patterns using Gerber or Lectra software.
- Provide pattern adjustments based on individual customer measurements with accuracy.
- Create scalable grading files for multiple size production using industry grading standards.
- Provide sewing instructions and construction details to internal and external machinists.
- Own the operation and ongoing refinement of Sanne’s 3D body scanning pipeline, including measurement data quality assurance.
- Review and action anomaly flags generated by the sizing algorithm; work closely with the CTO to validate logic, identify edge cases, and translate technical fit issues into pattern corrections in Gerber or Lectra.
- Collaborate with the CTO on Sanne’s custom manufacturing portal; flag workflow issues, and help define pattern-related data requirements.
- Support integration of an automatic cutting system, ensuring digital pattern files are correctly formatted, nested, and optimised for zero-waste automated cutting in line with Sanne’s production ethos.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
