This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Payroll Implementation Specialist based in United Kingdom.

Join a globally distributed payroll team responsible for delivering seamless, compliant payroll implementations across international markets. In this role, you will lead end-to-end onboarding projects for clients operating in the Netherlands and Belgium, ensuring every implementation is accurate, efficient, and ready for successful go-live. You'll collaborate with payroll experts, internal stakeholders, and software providers while driving process improvements in a fully remote, asynchronous environment. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who combines deep regional expertise with strong project management skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. You'll play a key role in shaping implementation standards while supporting continuous innovation and operational excellence.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the complete payroll implementation lifecycle for clients in the Netherlands and Belgium, from project kickoff through parallel runs and successful go-live.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for local payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and payroll best practices across both countries.
  • Coordinate closely with clients, payroll software providers, internal teams, and operational stakeholders throughout implementation projects.
  • Configure, validate, and maintain payroll data within payroll systems while ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop implementation plans, documentation, standard operating procedures, and scalable payroll processes to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, validate parallel payroll runs, monitor project milestones, and ensure KPIs and service levels are consistently achieved.
  • Support knowledge sharing by mentoring colleagues and contributing to platform enhancements, testing activities, and continuous process improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
