Senior Pega Business Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pega Business Architect to lead business analysis and requirements management across large-scale Pega transformation programmes. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to translate business needs into Pega solutions using Agile methodologies and Pega best practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, extensive experience in Pega delivery, and the ability to bridge business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Lead workshops with senior business stakeholders.
  • Capture, analyse and document business requirements.
  • Understand current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") business processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Produce high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritise backlog items alongside Product Owners.
  • Manage requirement traceability throughout delivery.

Pega Solution Design

  • Collaborate with Lead System Architects (LSAs) and System Architects.
  • Translate business requirements into Pega case types and workflows.
  • Define personas, user journeys and customer experiences.
  • Support data modelling and business object identification.
  • Ensure solutions align with Pega best practices and guardrails.
  • Participate in application design sessions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with business users.
  • Challenge requirements constructively.
  • Present solution options and recommendations.
  • Manage conflicting priorities across stakeholders.
  • Support governance boards and steering committees.

Agile Delivery

  • Work within Scrum teams.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement sessions.
  • Support sprint planning.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups.

  • Support UAT planning and execution.

  • Mentor junior Business Architects.

  • Support proposal development and estimation.
  • Contribute to Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • 5+ years delivering Pega projects
  • Strong understanding of Pega Platform
  • Experience with Pega Constellation (preferred)
  • Experience in Case Management solutions
  • BPM knowledge
  • Customer Journey Mapping
  • Process Modelling
  • User Story writing
  • Agile Scrum delivery
