About The Team
Our pensions administration specialists work with a diverse range of trust-based company pension schemes, including:
- Defined benefit schemes
- Defined contribution schemes
- Career average revalued earnings (CARE) schemes
- Hybrid schemes
We deliver a full suite of pensions administration services, including:
- Scheme administration
- Member communication
- Scam identification and prevention
- Payroll integration
- Pension scheme accounting
- De-risking projects
- Technical consultancy
Our scheme-based approach ensures one dedicated team for each client, fostering strong relationships and clarity of focus. After all, pension schemes exist for our members, so exemplary customer service sits alongside technical excellence and rigorous quality control.
Key Responsibilities

Training & Mentoring
- Training and supporting other team members
- Assisting junior colleagues and validating their work

Scheme Operations
- Meeting deadlines on critical tasks
- Accurately calculating and processing scheme benefits in line with Trust Deed & Rules
- Managing and updating membership records and supporting documentation
- Understanding and applying pension benefit structures, legislation, PSO (Pensions Sharing Orders), and disclosure requirements

Projects & Engagement
- Undertaking project work as directed by Team Leader or Manager
- Liaising with clients, scheme actuaries, consultants, pension providers, payroll teams, and third parties
- Providing technical clarity—both verbally and in writing*
- Ensuring compliance with ISO and AAF accreditations

About You: Essential Qualifications
Experience & Attributes
✅ Pensions Industry Expertise Budget handling within DB (Defined Benefit) schemes, with proven experience
✅ Ownership & Accountability Demonstrable commitment to self-development, responsibility, and accountability
✅ Process & Team Approach Methodical and organised in handling responsibilities Willing to support high standards in customer service and improve administrative processes
✅ Leadership & Development Ability to influence a culture of exceptional service, responsiveness, and precision
✅ Organisation & Flexibility Proven ability to plan and adapt while remaining efficient
✅ Drive & Communication Proactive, action-oriented approach with printable communication skills and a can-do attitude
✅ Attention to Detail Strong ability to maximise precision in all outputs
✅ Digital Proficiency Computer-literate with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with pensions-specific software
Qualifications
✅ Education
- Maths & English GCSE (minimum Grade C/5 or equivalent) (Ideally A-Level or equivalent—though exceptions may be made for experienced candidates without formal qualifications)
✅ Professional Development
- Willingnes to study or pursue relevant pension qualifications**, such as:*
- CPC (Chartered Pensions Consultant)
- QPA (Qualified Pensions Administrator)
- DPC (Defined Contribution Pensions Practitioner)
- RPC (Registered Pension Consultant)
- APMI (Associate of the Pensions Management Institute)
