Senior Pensions Administrator

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Birmingham office – Monday to Friday.

What the Day Will Look Like

You will provide high-quality administration support for internal and external clients, acting as a technical expert within the team:

  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for processes, clients, systems, and tools, ensuring proficiency in processing and checking.
  • Monitor team activity and coordinate workload in line with service level agreements (SLAs), organising, prioritising, and making effective workload allocation decisions.
  • Produce and analyse reports for internal and external clients, adorning accuracy and relevance.
  • Identify issues within team processes and drive solutions to improve workflow.
  • Implement changes to tools and documentation necessary for effective service delivery.
  • Increase processing knowledge and drive continuous improvement across all team functions.
  • Write and maintain knowledge documents, ensuring updates incorporate changes in legislation.
  • Share best practices with colleagues through process and tool training.
  • Participate in both internal and external audits.
  • Serve as a role model by providing constructive feedback to colleagues, fostering a high-performance team culture.
  • Coordinate and engage in projects impacting team domains.
  • Build strong relationships with client teams, client representatives, and third-party providers.
  • Achieve team and individual targets (KPIs, SLAs, quality goals).
  • Contribute to the team by supporting colleagues, whether as a mentor to less experienced or a collaborator to more senior teams.
  • Maintain technical and regulatory expertise, ensuring compliance with all stipulated policies.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by your manager.
