Alexander Lloyd is delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation as they continue to strengthen their Project Management function. Due to ongoing expansion, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong Defined Benefit (DB) pensions expertise to join their team.
About the Role
You’ll lead a portfolio of large, complex, and high-visibility projects across the Pensions Administration and Consulting landscape. This includes:
- Implementations
- Benefit changes
- Pensions Dashboard
- GMP projects
- De-risking programmes
- Multi-provider and multi-stakeholder delivery
This is a varied, strategic role where you’ll be at the centre of major transformation and client-critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted adviser to clients, third parties, and internal teams
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across all levels
- Provide guidance on complex pensions initiatives and support decision-making
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and outcomes are met
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across multiple service lines
- Drive governance, risk management, and project controls
- Support continuous improvement and contribute to new delivery propositions

Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for:
- Experienced Project Managers seeking progression, or
- Pensions professionals from consulting, transitions, implementations, or change who want to move into a dedicated project management role
You’ll need:
- Strong DB pensions knowledge
- Proven experience partnering closely with clients and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A structured, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Working Arrangements
This role offers genuine flexibility — hybrid from any UK office or fully remote for the right person.
