Senior People Business Partner
Be a strategic partner to senior leaders, shaping our people agenda and helping drive organisational success, culture and colleague experience across Azets.
The Opportunity
As Senior People Business Partner, you'll play a key role in delivering the Group People strategy across our Central and West region. Working closely with senior operational and functional leaders, you'll provide strategic insight, challenge and guidance to support business growth and create a high-performing, inclusive culture.
- Partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver people strategies aligned to business priorities
- Drive organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and leadership capability
- Use people insights and data to influence decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Champion change and support colleagues through periods of transformation
Your Impact
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and coach
- Support leaders in creating engaged, capable and high-performing teams
- Shape talent, succession and development strategies that support future growth
- Help embed Azets' values and leadership behaviours across the business
What You'll Be Doing
Partnering with Leaders
- Partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver the People strategy across your business area
- Provide strategic people insight to influence decisions and support commercial outcomes
- Coach leaders to strengthen capability, engagement and team effectiveness
Leading Organisational Design
- Lead organisational design, workforce planning and change activity
- Identify future capability needs and recommend solutions to support business growth
Talent, Performance & Development
- Lead talent and succession planning to build future capability
- Support effective performance and development cycles across the business
- Partner with Learning & Development teams to shape development programmes
- Coach leaders to build strong leadership capability and pipelines

People Experience & Culture
- Lead cross-functional People initiatives and promote collective ownership
- Use people insights and data to identify trends and opportunities
- Promote Azets' values and leadership behaviours
- Support an inclusive, high-performing culture where colleagues can thrive
Operational Excellence
- Design and deliver people change strategies aligned with business objectives
- Analyse people trends and provide insight to senior leaders
- Drive continuous improvement across People processes
- Work with People Centres of Expertise to deliver effective solutions
- Support M&A activity through cultural integration and talent transition
What We're Looking For
- Professional HR qualification (e.g. CIPD) or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in a senior HR Business Partner or People Business Partner role
- Experience partnering with senior leadership teams in complex, fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practice and people analytics
- Proven experience delivering organisational change, talent strategies and workforce planning

- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge and coach leaders
- Ability to build trusted relationships and manage complex priorities
