Senior People Development Partner
Murphy is recruiting for a Senior People Development Partner to work the People Team at our Kentish Town, Leeds, or Stone Cross Office.
Operating in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and the USA, Murphy provides better engineered solutions to infrastructure sectors including transportation, water, power and natural resources. So that our teams out on projects can run smoothly it is vital that we have robust support functions in place.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior People Development Partner to lead on the delivery of the learning and development portfolio at Murphy. In this role you will need to have strong experience in translating learning strategy into effective operational delivery across all aspects of construction. Through this you will play a pivotal role in the business maintaining our Platinum Investors in People Employer status, achieving our Murphy@80 strategy, and developing some of the best people in the industry.

- Lead on effective operational delivery of the learning and development strategy across all aspects of construction
- Create sustainable talent pipelines for our project delivery and support function roles, helping our people understand and engage with the vast development opportunities available for everyone
- Build efficiencies in seamless delivery of technical training
- Drive a culture of high performance through effective PDR provision and line management excellence
- Deliver on the end-to-end, flagship development programmes for Murphy, e.g. Supervisory, Project and Future Leadership, Inductions, One Murphy Big Inclusion, SDI, engagement workshops
- Professional development management and liaison
- Management of levy, grants, funding opportunities and relevant accreditations
- Reporting and data management
- Vital role in further development of Emerging Talent
- Vital role in opening a training centre facility in Ollerton

Does This Sound Like You
- Strong L&D background with proven track record of providing ongoing strategic learning and development advisory support to a large, multi-site, multi-disciplined business
- Experience of managing teams
- Experience collaborating with all levels of seniority across the business to ensure a consistent approach and delivery of development opportunities for everyone
- Experience of end-to-end delivery of development programmes
- Knowledge of learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems
- Level 7 CIPD qualification
- Full driving licence
