Senior People Partner (12 month contract)

Your Role At Veezu

As a Senior People Partner you will be an integral part of the People Team, collaborating closely with various departments to provide strategic HR guidance and support. You will foster positive employee relations, implement People initiatives, and ensure alignment between Veezu’s objectives and People strategies.

Please note: this is a 12 month fixed-term contract.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a strategic, hand-on partner to manage all Employee Relations matters arising across the business including effectively managing all cases through to resolution having regard to driving forward business objectives at all times. This is a hands-on role, meaning you will be involved in all aspects of case management, including supporting other members of the People Team as well as taking an active role yourself.
  • Act as a strategic, hands-on partner to devise any HR related measures to reduce or avoid the recurrence of issues being found at the root cause of ER cases including policy / procedure improvements, management training plans, better communications etc.
  • Support on the continuous improvement of Veezu’s culture, ensuring that the fast pace, high growth environment with continuous change is a good place to work with a high performing and settled workforce.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and values
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations, performance management and talent development.
  • Works closely with People Partner (Acquisitions, Implementations, and Integrations) to support a smooth transition process for new colleagues joining through acquisition.
  • Develops and analyses key People metrics to identify trends, recommend proactive solutions, and support effective decision-making.
  • Collaborate on recruitment to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Support with the delivery of the People Strategy and change management initiatives across the business.
  • Stay updated on UK employment legislation, ensuring compliance and best practice across all HR activities.
  • Be committed to maintaining our ISO27001 certification and set high standards for Information Security compliance.

  • Educated to degree level and/or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a People Partner or similar role, ideally within fast-paced, high-growth private sector companies.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic and commercial mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in managing complex employee relations issues.

Where You’ll Be

This role will be based out of our Cardiff office, with the expectation that you will travel to and work from our hubs across the UK as and when needed for the proper performance of your role.
