Job Title: Senior People Partner
Working Pattern: Four days in the office
Location: London
Salary: Up to £120,000 + Bonus & Equity
Hawkwood is excited to be partnering with a high-growth, Series C fintech on a mission to support small and medium-sized independent businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in London, our client has built an integrated payments and software platform that helps businesses simplify operations, grow sustainably and deliver exceptional customer experiences. They are scaling rapidly and building a high-performance culture where ambition, pace and customer impact go hand in hand.
As they continue their growth journey, they are looking for a Senior People Partner to support their Go-to-Market organisation, partnering closely with Commercial leadership across Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success and other customer-facing teams. This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on enabling organisational performance, supporting leaders through growth and ensuring the business has the capability, structure and talent to deliver its ambitious commercial objectives.
What you will be doing
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior Go-to-Market leaders, aligning people strategy with commercial priorities and business growth plans.
- Partnering on organisation design, team structures and role clarity to support scale, productivity and cross-functional collaboration.
- Leading workforce and capability planning across Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success and other commercial functions.
- Coaching leaders to strengthen performance, accountability, feedback and leadership capability.
- Using people data and insights to inform decisions around organisational effectiveness, headcount planning, engagement and future capability.
- Driving key people processes including performance, engagement, compensation, succession planning and talent development.
- Partnering closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure hiring plans align with business priorities and organisational design.
- Working alongside Finance and Operations on headcount planning, investment decisions and workforce planning.
- Supporting leaders through periods of growth, change and organisational transformation while maintaining a high-performance culture.
- Championing an inclusive, high-performing environment where people can thrive and deliver meaningful business impact.

What we are looking for
- An experienced Senior People Partner who has supported commercial or Go-to-Market organisations within a high-growth, fast-scaling business.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships or other revenue-generating functions, ideally within technology, fintech or SaaS.
- Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of how high-performing Go-to-Market organisations scale.
- A trusted advisor who builds credibility quickly and is confident influencing senior stakeholders and constructively challenging where appropriate.
- Experience supporting organisational design, workforce planning and leadership development through periods of rapid growth.
- Commercially minded and data-informed, using insight to drive decisions and improve organisational effectiveness.
- Pragmatic, resilient and outcomes-focused, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Passionate about creating high-performing, inclusive environments where talented people can do their best work.
