Hawkwood is excited to be partnering with a high-growth, Series C fintech on a mission to support small and medium-sized independent businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in London, our client has built an integrated payments and software platform that helps businesses simplify operations, grow sustainably and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on enabling organisational performance, supporting leaders through growth and ensuring the business has the capability, structure and talent to deliver its ambitious commercial objectives.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior Go-to-Market leaders, aligning people strategy with commercial priorities and business growth plans.
  • Partnering on organisation design, team structures and role clarity to support scale, productivity and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Leading workforce and capability planning across Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success and other commercial functions.

  • Driving key people processes including performance, engagement, compensation, succession planning and talent development.
  • Partnering closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure hiring plans align with business priorities and organisational design.
  • Working alongside Finance and Operations on headcount planning, investment decisions and workforce planning.
  • Supporting leaders through periods of growth, change and organisational transformation while maintaining a high-performance culture.
  • Championing an inclusive, high-performing environment where people can thrive and deliver meaningful business impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
