About Climbing Trees
We are a digital marketing agency based in Essex, doing positive digital marketing, for good. Honest work, real results, and a genuine commitment to the clients and people we work with since 2014. A close-knit team of specialists who care: about excellent work, about growing client businesses, and about each other.
The Role
This is a hands-on performance role. You will manage paid media across a portfolio of clients, strategy, build, tracking, budget pacing, reporting, and client conversations. We need someone who can walk in and contribute from day one: proactive, rigorous, and always thinking ahead. Not someone who waits to be asked.
We also want someone thinking about where paid media is heading, AI tools, privacy changes, server-side tracking, and how we keep delivering brilliant results in a more complex environment.
Paid search, paid social and e-commerce
- Own paid search and paid social strategy for a portfolio of clients, build, optimise, and report with a genuine focus on outcomes, not activity.
- Lead e-commerce campaigns including Google Shopping and Performance Max. Stay close to platform changes and bring proactive recommendations to clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Tracking, measurement and reporting
- Set up and maintain GA4, GTM, Consent Mode, and measurement frameworks independently, without relying on a developer.
- Build Looker Studio dashboards clients actually use. Turn data into clear recommendations: what happened, why, and what comes next.
Client management and commercial growth
- Own client relationships end-to-end, calls, strategic reviews, difficult conversations, and spotting opportunities to grow accounts.
- Bring practical AI into your workflow. Share what you are learning with the team and help build better, faster processes.
What we'd love you to bring to the role
Tier 1 - Essential
- Hands-on Google Ads, you have built, structured and optimised campaigns across objectives and budgets.
- Paid social, Meta as a minimum, managed end-to-end, not just monitored.
- E-commerce, Google Shopping and Performance Max, with a practical understanding of feeds and retail seasonality.
- Direct technical client management, held relationships, grown accounts, handled the full range of conversations.
Tier 2 - Desirable
- GA4 (events, conversions, audiences from scratch), GTM (tags and triggers independently), Consent Mode, Looker Studio.
- AI in your workflow, already experimenting with LLMs for copy, briefs or reporting. Curiosity over polish.
