Reporting to: Head of Ecommerce Contract type: Permanent, 40 hours per week Location: The Fold’s Head Office in Bermondsey (hybrid – 4 days in the office)

Role Overview
This is a growth-oriented, hands-on role descended from a deep performance marketing focus. You’ll drive our biddable media strategy with full accountability from forecasting to execution and trade impact analysis—connecting product, creative and consumer data to deliver measurable growth with empathy.
Unlike traditional performance roles, this position demands technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic influence.
What You Will Own
- Own and implement performance marketing approaches, ensuring cross-team alignment and creative learning
- Lead business metric forecasting, KPI design, and ownership for key channels
- Drive trade reporting—from performance analysis to incremental contribution assessment
Key Responsibilities
Performance Campaign Management:
- Oversee Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Pinterest optimisation via partnerships with our performance marketing agency
- Conduct account restructures to improve efficiency and performance

Creative & Product Excellence:
- Audit digital asset performance across channels and brief internal teams on format optimisations
- Partner with CRM/first-party data specialists to deploy audience exclusions and custom segmentation
- Technically manage the e-commerce product feed, ensuring categorisation (custom labels, titles, descriptions) aligns with high-intent search patterns
Data & Measurement:
- Eliminate siloed tracking by collaborating with the Trade Analyst to adopt automated dashboards and multi-touch attribution
- Align paid media testing with onsite experiments to close funnel gaps
- Ensure incremental impact analysis is core to budget allocation
Market & Merchant Collaboration:
- Distil Google Trends, Similarweb, and market insights to guide strategy
- Work closely with e-commerce teams to refine consumer journeys post-click
- Align trade-level performance metrics with product availability
Reporting & Accountability:
- Deliver culturally accessible reports explaining why optimisations were made—not just what was changed
- Use trade-level spend impact reporting to confirm channel investment alignment
About You
We seek a sharp operator who bridges strategic scale and execution precision. You must:
Experience & Expertise
- Minimum 5 years in paid social/paid search—with at least 2 years in mid-to-senior team management
- Fashion/retail/DTC experience required; preferably within premium direct-to-consumer Brands
- Proven expertise in Google/Meta campaigns, data reporting, and atesting frameworks
** Technical & Analytical Skills**
- Certified in Google Ads + Meta Ads Manager
- Wide analytical toolset: Web analytics, cohort studies, attribution models (LiDAR, MMM)
- Strong understanding of incrementality and fraud testing
** Soft Skills & Mindset**
- Distil complex technical performance insights for non-specialist stakeholders
- Contextualise global campaign data within a regionalised framework
- Testing-obsessed: Continuously refine messaging, creative variants, and allocation metrics
