About the Role
DeepL is at an inflection point in its growth, and this is an opportunity to directly shape how the world's most accurate AI translation company acquires and converts customers through paid media. As Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you will own the strategy and hands-on execution of DeepL's paid social and paid search programmes globally, driving efficient, measurable customer acquisition across SMB and enterprise segments.
This role sits within DeepL's Performance Marketing & Campaigns function and reports to the Director of Performance Marketing & Campaigns. It will work with cross-functional partners across Field, Lifecycle Marketing, SDR, Product Marketing and Marketing Data Science to scale DeepL's paid channels, and partner effectively with stakeholders running ABM programmes.
What You'll Own
Paid Social & Paid Search
- Own and scale DeepL's paid social programmes across LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, X and other emerging channels, tailoring strategy, audiences and creative to each platform's strengths.
- Own and scale DeepL's paid search programmes across Google, Bing and other search engines, managing keyword strategy, bidding, ad copy and landing page alignment to maximise efficiency.
- Define and manage channel-level budget allocation, shifting spend in response to real-time performance signals to hit CAC, pipeline and ARR targets.
- Champion a culture of experimentation: design and run structured A/B tests across creative, audience, bidding strategy and landing experience, translating results into scalable playbooks.
- Stay ahead of platform changes, betas and new ad formats across social and search, evaluating and piloting new channels where they offer efficient acquisition.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
