Senior Personal Mortgage Consultant – Limited Company Mortgage Team
About the Role
We’re seeking a highly organised and knowledgeable Senior Personal Mortgage Consultant to join our Limited Company (Ltd) Mortgage Team, specialising in the accurate and efficient administration of complex mortgage cases.
Based within our specialist mortgage operations function, this role focuses on delivering high-quality administrative support and expertise in Limited Company mortgage structures.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Personal Mortgage Consultant, you will:
- Manage key administrative processes, reviewing case information and investigating complex Limited Company structures to ensure accurate, compliant case handling.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and technical support to colleagues on intricacies of mortgage underwriting and compliance.
- Resolve workflow queries, ensuring consistency and adherence to internal standards.
- Not engage in customer advisory responsibilities—your value lies in technical accuracy, workflow support, and problem-solving for colleagues.

Delegated Leadership
In the absence of the Team Manager (e.g., during leave):
- Act as the primary point of contact for team queries.
- Maintain day-to-day oversight, coordinate workflows, and uphold performance standards.
- Support operational resilience while upholding business requirements.
Opportunity Details
- A 12-month secondment position.
- Hybrid working model, aligning with Nationwide’s flexible working philosophy—one option is two days weekly (or 40% for part-time) based at our Bournemouth office, with remaining hours spent remotely.
- Preference given to redeployment candidates impacted by organisational change.
