Senior Software Developer
Location: Fully Remote (UK)
Position Type: Permanent
We're working exclusively with an established and profitable software company that continues to invest heavily in its engineering function.
Following the successful placement of a Senior Developer earlier this year, they're now looking to strengthen the team again.
This is an opportunity to join a business modernising a large production platform whilst building new features used by thousands of customers every week.
The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in migrating a mature PHP application into a modern Symfony architecture whilst helping shape future engineering decisions.
Once the migration is complete there is an extensive roadmap covering backend services, frontend development, infrastructure improvements and DevOps initiatives.
You'll work within a collaborative engineering team where quality, testing and clean architecture are genuinely valued.

You'll Ideally Have
- Strong commercial Symfony experience
- Excellent PHP development skills
- Experience building scalable web applications
- Modern JavaScript experience (Vue preferred)
- DevOps understanding across Linux and cloud infrastructure
- Database optimisation experience
- API integrations
- Strong testing mindset
- Security awareness (OWASP)
