Senior Physical Design Engineer
An innovative semiconductor company is seeking a Senior Physical Design Engineer to support the delivery of next-generation, low-power Wi-Fi SoCs used in high-volume consumer devices.
Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you will drive RTL-to-GDSII implementation while helping to shape methodologies, influence project direction, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality silicon. This role is ideal for an experienced Physical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in their career and develop their leadership responsibilities while remaining highly hands-on.

What They Are Looking For
- Strong academic background in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience across full backend/physical design flows in advanced CMOS technologies.
- Strong understanding of timing closure methodologies and sign-off requirements.
- Experience with low-power implementation techniques for battery-operated or power-sensitive products.
- Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools and scripting languages such as Tcl, Python, or Shell.
- Ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges and drive solutions independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an interest in mentoring others and contributing to technical leadership within the team.
