Our client is an established international commodity trading house seeking a Physical Metals Trader to build and grow its physical metals trading business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a profitable physical metals trading strategy across international markets.
  • Build and manage supplier and customer relationships to establish sustainable trading flows.
  • Originate new business opportunities and negotiate commercial contracts.
  • Manage pricing, logistics, inventory, and risk throughout the trading lifecycle.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and risk teams to ensure efficient execution.

  • Proven track record in physical metals trading with an established industry network, 7+ yrs experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to originate profitable trading opportunities.
  • Experience managing end-to-end physical transactions, including logistics and risk.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a trading business.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
