We are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner (MEP) to join our team, supporting the successful delivery of a complex live project with an extended programme of works. This is a key role responsible for leading programme management across the MEP installation, integration and commissioning phases, ensuring delivery remains aligned to client milestones and project objectives.

Working closely with project managers, engineers, commercial teams and specialist subcontractors, you will drive programme performance through effective planning, Lean Planning methodology, and robust reporting. You'll play a vital role in identifying risks, developing recovery strategies and providing the visibility needed to successfully deliver a challenging and high-profile project.

Key Duties

  • Lead the development, management and maintenance of detailed MEP construction and commissioning programmes, ensuring alignment with project milestones and client requirements.
  • Champion Lean Planning across the project, facilitating daily site briefings, short interval planning, weekly progress reporting and continuous programme improvement.
  • Monitor programme performance, identify risks and delays, develop recovery strategies and provide clear reporting to project teams and client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate design, procurement, installation and commissioning activities, ensuring effective sequencing and management of interfaces within a live project environment.
  • Support project delivery teams through programme advice, mentoring junior planners where required, and ensuring compliance with NEC contractual requirements and company planning standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
