About the Role
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Senior Planner to strengthen the planning team.
Responsibilities
As Senior Planner, you will:
- Lead the planning team while mentoring junior planners
- Ensure timely project delivery and maintenance of high-performance standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Fostering and sustaining a high-performance culture

Key duties include:
- Collaborate on detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with methodology and requirements
- Align project plans with full scope and resource allocation
- Risk management: Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks while advising on critical path adjustments
- Develop 4D animations for project visualisation and rehearsal
- Design and implement communication plans to drive stakeholder buy-in
- Embed and enforce planning standards and processes
- Integrate Health & Safety considerations into all planning activities
Requirements
Must have:
- Demonstrable experience in civil engineering, preferably within the Water Industry
- P6 planning expertise, with strong leadership in collaborative planning
- Ability to analyse technical drawings to deliver cost-efficient planning solutions
- Strong communication skills
- An adaptable, innovative mindset, with a collaborative approach to enhancing team performance
