Senior Planner
VolkerLaser repairs, strengthens, and waterproofs concrete and steel structures, delivering tailored structural solutions such as:
- Bridge deck waterproofing
- Expansion joints
- Concrete and cathodic protection repairs
- Steel repair and strengthening
- Carbon fibre and temporary works
- Jacking and bearing replacement
- Lightweight decking and access solutions
- Long bridge and cable refurbishment
For clients across the UK.
The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Planner to manage all planning and programme requirements across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Planner will:
- Support the Project Manager in delivering planning and programme activities for assigned projects
- Provide planning expertise to wider functions, including tender preparation and development
About You (Ideal Candidate)
- Proven experience in a senior planning position (desirable, but not required)
- Extensive experience with project planning, including:
- Managing multiple projects
- Leading teams
- Effective communication
- Strong background in using planning software, notably Primavera P6
- Experience contributing to project planning for tenders and pre-construction phases
- First-hand knowledge of NEC 4 Contract Types
- Familiarity with civil engineering projects
- Degree-qualified or equivalent qualification
- Valid UK driving license (desirable)
