We're looking for a Senior Planner to join our Nuclear business team based in Suffolk.
Location: Suffolk
Hours: 45 hrs per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Kier is currently involved in a major energy project delivering a nuclear grade power station and infrastructure on one of the UK's largest projects. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our team, working initially on a project through to completion, then working on further nuclear projects within our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks business unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of large scale reinforced concrete construction and work within an NEC contract environment.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Planner, You'll Be Working Within The Nuclear Business Team, Supporting Them In Delivering All Programme And Project Controls Outputs. Your Day To Day Will Include
- Constructing and managing the fully integrated master programme, phase sequence plans, and weekly priorities,
- Producing programmes for acceptance, impact programmes, project controls dashboards, and detailed reports,
- Analysing project metrics and rates of work to ensure key programme dates can be tracked with accuracy,
- Supporting the commercial team to produce accurate forecasts based on labour resource and materials forecasting,
- Establishing and maintaining internal and external project controls reporting, and evaluating supply chain programmes.

What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Planner is great for you if:
- You have NEC contract-based planning experience and are familiar with reinforced concrete frame building techniques,
- You possess excellent working knowledge of Planning Software, particularly Primavera P6,
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships,
- You can think logically, work methodically, and meet challenging timescales,
- You're experienced in preparing visual management reports using PowerBi or similar platforms.
