Senior Planner
MSS Infrastructure are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Planner to join a major long-term engineering and infrastructure project based in Reading.
Job Title: Senior Planner
Location: Reading (100% onsite)
Contract Length: 18 months
Day Rate: Negotiable based on experience. PAYE direct
Clearance: Security clearance required
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive planner with a strong Primavera P6 background who can take ownership of project schedules, drive planning best practice and work closely with project teams to ensure successful programme delivery.
Responsibilities
As Senior Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Producing and managing project programmes using Primavera P6.
- Delivering project controls, schedule reporting and Earned Value (EVM) analysis.
- Carrying out critical path analysis and identifying programme risks.
- Leading planning meetings and promoting the benefits of effective planning.
- Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers and other key stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Planner within engineering, construction or infrastructure.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Experience with Project Controls and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Excellent understanding of critical path analysis.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and add value to complex projects.
