Senior/Associate Planners – Nottingham Office
Marrons’ Nottingham office is seeking Senior/Associate Planners to join their diverse and dynamic team. These roles offer the opportunity to work on an exciting range of projects, including urban regeneration schemes, strategic planning initiatives, and more, while collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading the development and implementation of planning strategies and policies to support sustainable growth and development nationwide
- Managing planning applications, appeals, and consultations in alignment with relevant policies, legislation, and best practices
- Conducting site assessments, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform decision-making processes
- Engaging with local communities, businesses, and government agencies to establish strong relationships and address planning-related challenges
- Providing expert advice on planning matters to clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Drafting Planning Statements, Planning Appraisals, and Statements of Case in support of planning applications and appeals
- Monitoring legislative changes, emerging trends, and industry best practices to shape decision-making and strategic development

Requirements
You will need:
- Relevant experience in a planning role, ideally from within local government, consultancy, or the development industry
- A relevant planning qualification (or commitment to pursuing one)
- Membership of the RTPI (or working towards it)
- A deep understanding of the planning process and systems
- Exceptional writing skills, with a sharp eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy
- Strong communication skills, with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Ability to prioritise workloads effectively and manage time efficiently
- Drive, commitment, enthusiasm, and a collaborative team-player mindset
