Senior Planner / Planning Lead (Asta Powerproject)

Major PBSA Development
Central London
£90,000 to £95,000 + Package

A leading international contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Planner / Planning Lead to join one of London's most significant construction projects. This is a rare opportunity to become involved at the preconstruction stage of a landmark redevelopment that will deliver almost 2,000 student rooms across multiple high-rise buildings, together with extensive amenity space, public realm and support facilities in the heart of Central London.

The Role

Initially operating within the preconstruction team, you will spend approximately 12 months developing and coordinating the integrated delivery programme, construction strategy and procurement sequencing before transitioning into a project-based Planning Lead role during construction.

You will take ownership of the project's master programme, working closely with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure successful programme development and delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
