Senior Planning Manager
Technical Planner – HPC Planning Team ✨

The Technical Planner Role
The Technical Planner provides essential support to the HPC Planning team, ensuring that planning processes, tools, and standards are clearly defined, effectively maintained, and consistently applied across the project. This role ensures stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of the integrated planning environment, enhancing:
- Schedule quality
- Process compliance
- Stakeholder confidence
As the project evolves in scale and complexity, the planner must guide the evolution of systems and processes, ensuring they remain structured, controlled, and transparent while delivering deeper analytical insights.
Responsibilities

Ownership of the Planning Process:
- Manage integrated programmes, critical paths, client programmes.
- Ensure analysis and acceptance of contractor programmes.

Cost and Progress Management:
- Oversee cost loading of programmes to align with appropriate levels of cost and progress capture.

Critical Risk Analysis & Stakeholder Communication:
- Analyse contractor programmes, assessing key metrics:
- Run rates
- Schedule risks
- Mitigation measures and opportunities
- Provide actionable feedback to project management.
