Established in 1992, we remain a privately owned practice that is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Position Overview
We are seeking to grow our team with the recruitment of an experienced valuer or cost engineer to provide plant and equipment assessments for clients across a wide range of sectors, including:
- Food manufacturing
- Vehicle manufacturing
- Oil and gas plants
- Sports and leisure facilities
- Pharmaceutical plants
- Power plants
- Renewable energy
- Offices
- Hotels
This is a diverse role, offering constant exposure to various assets and industries. We are a welcoming, dynamic, hard-working team, looking for friendly, tech-savvy people with an eye for detail and a desire to refine processes for improved client outcomes.
Travel: Regular UK travel with opportunities to work internationally, including occasional overnight stays and weekend travel.

About You
- Experience: A plant and equipment valuer, loss adjuster, or cost engineer, preferably with professional qualifications and at least five years post-qualification experience.
- Specialisation: Recent knowledge of reinstatement cost assessments for insurance is ideal but candidates from other disciplines with experience in estimating costs for large or complex projects will also be considered.

- Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently or as part of a team, undertake on-site reinstatement cost assessments across diverse asset types and sectors.
- Compile inventories of key assets.
- Research industry trends and current replacement costs.
- Deliver bespoke reports to a professional standard.
- Provide technical insights to clients.
- Contribute to industry-leading solutions for clients.
Knowledge and Skills
- Methodical, inquisitive, and attuned to attention to detail.
- Expert-level Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.
- Ability to prioritise workloads efficiently for timely report completion.
- Strong presentation and customer management skills.
- Capable of articulating reasoning and expertise effectively.
- Building trusted client relationships while fostering collaborative teamwork.
- Continuous learner, eager to absorb new knowledge.
- A full UK driving licence.
