Senior Platform Engineer

Senior Platform Engineer - Manchester / Hybrid

(Senior Platform Engineer, Lead Platform Engineer, AWS, VMWare, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps, Cloud, Transformation, Linux, Windows)

Our client is a global innovator and world leader with one of the most recognisable names within technology. They are continually growing and are looking for an exceptional Senior Platform Engineer with excellent AWS experience to design and implement the architecture, processes and automation to improve the software delivery cycle.

We are seeking a passionate Senior Platform Engineer who has previously played a major part in an AWS DevOps transformation with ambitions to define the future state of our client's platform and the roadmap of improvements to achieve this. The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes, as well as AWS (EC2, ELB, VPC, EKS), VMWare, and CI/CD and strong knowledge of Linux & Windows Server.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the architecture, processes and automation to improve the software delivery cycle.
  • Define the future state of the client's platform and the roadmap of improvements.
