MCS Group is delighted to be working with a technology-led organisation that is investing heavily in its cloud platform and is looking to appoint a Senior Platform Engineer to its growing engineering team.
This is an opportunity to join a business that's modernising its platform, improving developer experience, and building scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using the latest AWS technologies.
(Hybrid - 2 days per week - Belfast)
You'll be responsible for...
- Designing and evolving AWS cloud infrastructure
- Driving container platforms using AWS ECS and Docker
- Building Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- Developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Enhancing observability through Datadog
- Creating self-service platform capabilities for engineering teams
- Optimising cloud performance, resilience, and cost

You'll have senior-level experience with...
- AWS
- Terraform
- ECS and Docker
- GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tooling
- Datadog or another enterprise observability platform
- Python or Bash scripting
