Senior Platform Engineer- Continuous Delivery (CD)

Software Engineer - Continuous Delivery (CD) Platform 🚀

About Wise

Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Our mission is simple:

  • Min fees
  • Max ease
  • Full speed

Whether people and businesses send money to another country, spend abroad, or make/receive international payments, Wise is here to make their lives easier and save them money. As part of our team, you’ll help create an entirely new network for the world’s money. For everyone, everywhere.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Continuous Delivery (CD) Platform team. You’ll dive straight into Spinnaker, our strategic platform that helps us build a global infrastructure that is scalable, reliable, and secure.

At Wise, Continuous Delivery isn’t just a process—it’s how we protect our customers.

Your responsibilities

You will:

  • Design and run a comprehensive CD ecosystem to empower our engineering organisation to ship code safely.
  • Extend and evolve Spinnaker as part of its open-source (OSS) project, building a scalable foundation for Wise’s CD platform.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, Platform Engineering, and partner teams to shift toward a CD deployment paradigm.
  • Drive design that’s repeatable, reusable, and automated—utilising cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices architectures.
  • Support the growth imperative—now and in the future—by ensuring deployments that are highly available, secure, and simple.

Our region benefits from long-term vision, but we need execution powered by analytical thinking. You’ll aim to understand our scale, leverage data, and iteratively improve our systems with a problem-solving, high-impact mindset.

Key Areas of Focus

  • Evolve the Continuous Delivery platform: Expanding Spinnaker’s ecosystem to create a more robust, feature-rich—and Wise-specific—offer.
  • Build and scale the CD infrastructure: Integrating systems and working with Platform Engineering to ensure cross-team adoption.
  • Mentor teams & enable developers: Support the shift toward automated, secure CI/CD processes for deploying software safely and efficiently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
