Senior PMO
Senior Project Manager
PM, UK Remote
Overview
Evergreen is on a mission to reshape how people engage with financial services. As the parent company behind Moneyboat, one of the UK's trusted short-term unsecured lenders, we're entering an exciting phase of growth, developing new fintech brands and digital products that support financial well-being and smarter money choices.
We're looking for an experienced and highly organised Senior Project Manager to bring structure, pace and rigour to how Evergreen delivers change across the entire business. You will be the connective tissue across every significant project the business is running, from regulatory programmes and operational change to new brand launches and product development.
The Role
Reporting to the COO, you will establish and run Evergreen's project management function as a true business-wide capability. You will not own the projects, the relevant business leads do, but you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring every project is properly planned, resourced, tracked, and delivered.
- Identifying and escalating risks and blockers early before they become delivery failures.
- Unblocking stalled efforts and ensuring the business maintains control as it grows.
Your main focus will be ensuring the right people have the right information at the right time, so plans are followed, commitments are kept, and execution lands on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Project-manage concurrent initiatives across the business, including:
- Regulatory and compliance programmes
- Operational process change
- New brand and product launches
- Technology and product development work
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Ensure project owners and sponsors are aligned and informed on milestones and expectations.
- Deliver conceptual clarity for Engineering and Product teams, translating technical information via business terminology.
- Identify escalation risks early: actuate and notify COO and ExCo prior to delays or failures.
- Manage and align scope and deliverables, safeguarding delivery quality amidst scope creep or unrealistic timelines.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
